About the Author
Anna Kłos—artist, curator, and researcher—has been actively shaping the international collage scene for more than two decades, combining artistic practice with theoretical research and academic teaching. She earned her PhD in Fine Arts in 2007 with a dissertation devoted to Dadaist collage, which laid the foundation for her expertise in the field. As the founder of the international project Retroavangarda, she has organized some of the largest collage exhibitions in Europe, collaborating with artists from around the world. Modern Collage is the result of many years of research, curatorial experience, and artistic practice, offering a unique perspective on contemporary collage as a global artistic phenomenon.
