The Spanish artist Silvia Cuello was born in Barcelona, Spain (1980), where she graduated in Fine Arts. She has participated in several exhibitions in Europe, USA and Bolivia. She has also has done illustrations for several Spanish publications and for more than ten years she has been a drawing and painting teacher. In the present she lives in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
Silvia Cuello's work has gone through very varied periods but it always breathes a tendency to express human emotions without fear of showing darkness, isolation and contradiction through ambiguous and sometimes even disturbing images.
