British artist. Born 1987.
Lunn makes mixed media collages using mostly found materials. His works are typically abstract, with only tiny hints of recognisable things, fragments of fragments, remnants of other images, visual ghosts. He uses a restricted colour palette, with his eye drawn to nuances of colour and the delicate qualities of old paper. He’s interested in the overlooked, the idea that things that look like nothing at first can slowly reveal themselves on closer inspection. He wants you to lean in, take a closer look, and enjoy the quiet chaos lurking in the background.
Lunn currently lives and works in London.
